Branding: J Bar H Texas Foods

Yes, you guessed it. We were called upon by everybody’s favorite local (at least to Houston) caterer John Homrighausen of J Bar H Texas Foods to redesign the company’s branding and logo elements.

The design had to, in some way, represent a cattle brand that’s been burned onto a leather patch. The customer wanted to convey an image of capturing something you’d see in the old west Texas area a few hundred years ago. Since J Bar H Texas Foods primarily deals in smoked meats, barbeque,  and all the fixins that go with ’em. They cater at just about any kind of event people want.

After several revisions, we finally landed on this rugged design that embodied everything the customer wanted. It makes me hungry to look at this logo design. I remember the last smoked turkey I purchased from J Bar H Texas Foods last Thanksgiving holiday.

We ate every crumb.

Now that you’ve seen the logo design, go visit their web site and purchase your own smoked Turkey—or get J Bar H Texas Foods to cater at your next corporate or family event! Yeah. They’re THAT good.

    Thanks Bill-

You were awesome to work with on this project and you captured the essence of what we were looking for exactly, even if we had a hard time communicating it at first. Your patient guidance led us to the perfect representation of who we are. Our customers comment on this logo every day!

    Thanks again.

John, you’re being way too kind. You know good and well that it was YOU who had to be patient with me! It took a while but I think I finally understood all you were trying to tell me!

Seriously folks, once you eat John’s food at J-Bar-H Texas Foods, you won’t want to eat anything else.
