Branding: Lifeline Children’s Services

Located in Birmingham, Alabama this nonprofit organization works to provide children around the globe with a hope and a future.

This design I believe conveys more visually about who Lifeline is, and what its purpose is. The clean lines of type convey the professionalism, promptness, and detail-oriented nature of being an adoption agency. The feeling of being prepared in every situation to accomplish the task set before us. (Ephesians 2:10; 2 Timothy 2:21; 2 Timothy 4:2; Jeremiah 29:11)

The more rugged & rough lines can also convey the difficult, harsh, and gritty issues they help people through. The clean (unroughend) white heart I believe conveys the ever-present hope that exists in every situation. The hope that believers have, but also hope for the unbeliever who encounters Lifeline—who in turn points to the hope in Christ. God wants to bring good out of all our bad. (Romans 8:28; Colossians 1:27; 2 Corinthians 4:7-9)

I know this is not a Bible study, but really wanted to convey the process by which this design took shape. I also wanted to illustrate the depth of the process and the depth of the design and the purpose it can bring to Lifeline Children’s Services.
